In 2021 you made the world an offer. If the UN could describe, in a single thread, exactly how six billion dollars would solve world hunger, you would sell the stock and do it. They came back with a plan. You went quiet.
You were right to.
Because six billion dollars does not solve world hunger — the UN said so themselves. That figure was one meal a day, for one year, for the forty-two million people standing closest to famine. A tourniquet. Necessary, and nowhere near a cure. Ending it for good is estimated at thirty-three billion dollars a year. Not once. Every year. The precise figure is debatable. The recurrence is not.
That is exactly why it never gets solved. We keep trying to donate our way out of a problem that donation cannot solve. Charity is a straight line: money in, food out, nothing comes back, and tomorrow the line starts over at zero. Charity doesn’t compound. A century in, you’re still on day one.

So do not write a bigger check. Build the engine instead.
Here is the whole idea in one sentence: make feeding a hungry person produce something so valuable that feeding them stops being a cost and becomes an investment.
Not a line. A wheel. Food goes out. Value comes back. That value pays for the next meal, and the meal after that, until the thing that ends hunger is the same thing that funds it. That is the answer to the question you actually asked. Not six billion dollars of charity. An engine whose net cost bends toward zero because it pays for itself.
This letter explains the engine, not the engineering. The collection system, data architecture, ownership structure, economics and failure modes are what I want to answer in a call.
And what valuable resource exists in every human body, renews itself, and has barely been mapped at planetary scale?
Start with the reflex, because the reflex is wrong. For five hundred years, everything of value we found in poor places moved in one direction: out. Gold, spices, rubber, oil, the labour of human beings. Dug up or carried off, leaving the ground emptier and the people no less poor. So we assume that whatever the poor still have, taking it must cost them.
This resource breaks that rule. A sample does not empty the source. The source renews itself. We discard it without asking what it knows, what it carries, or who it might heal.

It lives in the gut: the microbiome, trillions of organisms that shape immunity, metabolism, inflammation and response to treatment. And this is not a someday idea. It is already happening, quietly, at the edge of medicine.

Food can never become the price of consent. The moment it does, the science is contaminated and the business collapses. No hospital, researcher or regulator will build medicine on samples taken under the threat of hunger. Only consent has value. Dignity is not the cost of this business. It is the reason the business can exist.
